non-bookish adventure: a stroll on Mt. Tabor

It’s spring!  The sun is shining (SHOCKER! I thought it was never sunny in Portland!), the birds are twittering, and I had some free time to go on a stroll.

Mt. Tabor Park has three big reservoirs that supply the city of Portland’s drinking water.  The reservoirs are surrounded by towering Doug Fir and Hemlock trees and by fairly manicured paths, and I spent a happy few hours just wandering around and singing (on the inside. Singing in public tends to only be OK if you’re A) Mary Poppins or B) In The Rain).
